A good story should have a beginning, middle and an end. Karen has a talent for being able to connect to her subjects – to tell a story through video that is compelling, human, and memorable.
Karen has worked for more than 20 years in film and video production as a producer/director on national television commercials, and as an assistant director on feature films. Her interest in personal stories about people and art led her to create “Me in Box”, a series of documentary short films for children with the Nickelodeon network. This series earned awards from the Broadcast Design Association and Parent’s Choice. Karen’s directing experience and passion to make a difference allows her to develop pieces for non profits such as The Glass Slipper Project, Refugee One, Camp Soar and the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.
